About Lucid Realty
Lucid Realty is a licensed Florida brokerage built around a simple idea: sellers should be able to control who sees their home, who gets invited to make an offer, and how much of the process stays private. We built the tools to make that possible.
Why We Built This
Most real estate transactions follow the same script. List on the MLS. Syndicate to every website. Open the doors to anyone who wants to walk through. For a lot of sellers, that works fine.
But not every seller wants their home broadcast to the public. Some want to test the market quietly. Some are in situations where discretion matters — a divorce, an estate, a business transition, a neighbor they'd rather not alert. Some just want to know who's looking before they commit to a full-exposure listing.
There wasn't a clean way to do that. Private sales existed, but they were informal — word of mouth, pocket listings passed between agents, deals that happened in back channels with no structure and no accountability. Sellers had to choose between full public exposure or an unstructured process with no real tools.
Lucid exists to fill that gap.
What Lucid Is
A licensed brokerage
Lucid Realty holds an active Florida brokerage license. We handle listing agreements, contracts, negotiations, and transaction coordination.
A private marketplace
Our platform connects sellers with verified buyers in a controlled environment. No MLS, no public syndication, no open houses unless the seller wants one.
Seller-controlled
Sellers decide who sees their property, who gets invited to make an offer, and whether to stay private or move to MLS.
Auditable
Every search, invitation, and offer is logged. The process is structured, documented, and defensible.
What Lucid Is Not
Not a Realtor brokerage
Lucid Realty is not a member of the National Association of Realtors and does not participate in any MLS. This is by design.
Not a lead generation platform
We don't sell buyer data to agents. We don't syndicate listings to third-party sites. The platform exists to facilitate private transactions, not generate advertising revenue.
Not a discount brokerage
We provide full brokerage services — listing, negotiation, contract management, transaction coordination. The model is different, not reduced.
Not a replacement for the MLS
For sellers who want maximum public exposure, the MLS is the right tool. Lucid is for sellers who want a different kind of exposure — targeted, verified, and private.
How We Operate

Seller choice is documented
Every seller acknowledges in writing that their listing is private, that MLS remains optional, and that participation is voluntary. No one ends up in a process they didn't choose.

Buyer identity is protected
Buyers are verified before they appear in the marketplace. Their identity stays hidden until they submit an offer. Sellers search anonymized profiles — no names, no addresses, no contact information.

Invitations are non-binding
When a seller invites a buyer to make an offer, it's an invitation — not a commitment. Buyers can view terms, ask questions, and decide whether to proceed.

Nothing is public
Listings are not syndicated, not indexed by search engines, and not visible to anyone outside the verified marketplace. Private means private.

Everything is logged
Searches, invitations, offers, status changes — every action is recorded in an immutable audit log. If a question ever comes up about how a transaction was conducted, the record exists.

Fair housing is non-negotiable
Buyer search filters are designed to prevent discrimination. Protected-class filters are permanently prohibited. Free-text search is blocked. Every seller search is logged.
